Relais Villa Matarazzo is surrounded by a fascinating 30,000 m² garden, designed by landscape architect Augusto Cicchetti during the 1940s. Throughout the years, it was adjusted by Pietro Porcinai, known for his work in renovating Italian gardens, as well as Russel Page, famous British landscaper. Villa Matarazzo’s scenery was then abandoned for three decades (1960-1995). Subsequently, 1998 saw the renovation of the land by the late landscaper Otello Conti, as well as the collaboration of Rosa Anna Di Gregorio Ranocchi.
