Villa Matarazzo is surronded by a large private park of 30,000 sqm. designed in the forties by the landscape architect Augusto Cicchetti followed by Pietro Porcinai known for having revived the glories of the Italian garden and the famous English landscape architect Russell Page. Completely abandoned for more than 30 years (1960-1995), the park was recently renovated (1998) by the landscape architect Othello Conti from Senigallia with the collaboration of Mrs. Rosanna Di Gregorio Ranocchi. The entire Fanano hill is full of oaks, pines, olive trees and botanical Mediterranean rarities, giving you a fascinating and always green landscape. For nature lovers we suggest a path to discover the most beautiful botanical flora endangered, some of which date back to the first half of '700. The olive trees are everywhere in Villa Matarazzo gardens, secular trees of emotional presence. The unique landscape where Villa Matarazzo is located is a joy for the eyes and the spirit. The large swimming pool in front of the Manor House equipped with every comfort, sunbeds and towels, overlooks the Gradara Castle and the Riviera Romagnola.
